Ten entrepreneurship projects from the United Kingdom competed in the roadshow in Suzhou on May 17. The event was part of the 2023 “Win in Suzhou, Win the Future” Venture Contest for International Entrepreneurs which consists of six legs in the country and five overseas along with 10 “Overseas Express” competitions.

Initiated in 2011, the Venture Contest for International Entrepreneurs has recorded more than 30,000 people with 9,500-plus projects participating in 12 editions held in Asia, North America, Europe and Oceania. It has played a big part in attracting high-caliber talents and their projects to Suzhou.

In the event, the projects, respectively focusing on biomedicine, new materials, advanced manufacturing, AI and so on, were presented to the jury panel on line or on site. Eventually, six of them took the top three places.
